A creative sound technician with experience of large events is required to support in the running of events run by create herts as well as by external groups and organisations at Harpenden Arts and Conference Centre
This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think
outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done"
spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills and be able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Configure and Operate Sound Equipment
- Act as both FoH and Monitor Engineer as required
- Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and artists
- Lead on all aspects of sound design and operation
- Ensure equipment is in a functioning state for events
Must Have
- Extensive experience of audio engineering for events
- Familiarity with the X32 and Behringer wing products as well as the Dante system
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
Nice to have
- A degree in music or music technology
- Experience of running large events
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills
