A creative lighting technician with experience of large events is required to support in the running of events run by create herts as well as by external groups and organisations at Harpenden Arts and Conference Centre
This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think
outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done"
spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills and be able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Configure and Operate lighting Equipment
- Act as lighting designer / operator
- Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and artists
- Lead on all aspects of lighting design and operation
- Ensure equipment is in a functioning state for events
Must Have
- Extensive experience of lighting for events
- Familiarity with MagicQ lighting software and Lab software
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
Nice to have
- A degree in theatre / lighting design
- Experience of running large events
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills
